Nepal Press Institute
Pioneer of media education:
Nepal Press Institute is Nepal’s first and most-credited media training institute, having trained thousands of Nepali journalists and communication professionals since its establishment in 1984.
The institute is dedicated to capacity building of the media that is able to promote social sustainability, uphold democratic values, and create a free and transparent society.
Non-political and non-profit organization:
Nepal Press Institute is a non-profit institution registered at the district administration office of Kathmandu and affiliated with Social Welfare Council, Nepal. This institution is free from political party affiliation. It has no special interest in playing political power. It has never demonstrated any political agenda’s and party slogans.
The board members of this institution are not a member of any political parties and also the board members are not paid staffs, they are volunteers. NPI has a historical track to deliver its work without political bias.
Open to social audit:
This institution allows public and social audit at any point of the program phase.
